Ghanaian dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale who has been at the centre of an alleged gun attack has promised to turn himself in.
The decision comes hours after reports emerged that the prophet who prophesied that the dancehall artist will be shot had been picked up by the police.
Shatta Wale who has been on a ranting spree since the early hours of Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in a post wrote;
“If the pastor has been arrested then I need to be arrested too cuz that was what I wanted…Thank you GP

On Monday, October 18, 2021, the Ghana Police Service has released a statement regarding reports that suggest that Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has been shot.
In the statement, the service revealed it had “launched an investigation into the matter including making contacts with some of his close friends and family members and all of them claim not to have knowledge of his whereabouts or the alleged incident.”
The statement came about after Shatta Wale’s Personal Assistant, Nana Dope in a series of posts alleged that his artiste had been shot and rushed to the hospital.
Shatta Wale Breaks Silence
Ghanaian dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah also known as Shatta Wale has broken his silence over an alleged gun attack on his life.
Late Monday evening (October 18, 2021), reports run wild on social media after the musician’s Personal Assistant, Nana Dope in a series of posts pressed the panic button suggesting that Shatta Wale had been shot and rushed to the emergency unit of an undisclosed hospital where he was receiving treatment.
The reports went viral causing the Ghana Police Service to release a statement. In the statement, Ghana Police Service stated it had “launched an investigation into the matter including making contacts with some of his close friends and family members” who claim “not to have knowledge of his whereabouts or the alleged incident.”
The statement further stated a team had visited the house of Shatta Wale and could not find him and have therefore mounted a search for Shatta Wale at hospitals in Accra.
Hours later, Shatta Wale in a lengthy post on Facebook revealed he was on the run since his life was in danger. He claimed responsibility for pressing the panic button with the mobile phones of his producer and team member.
