The Ghanaian blogosphere has for the past one week been inundated with news of a supposed been rift between actors Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as Lilwin and Nana Yaw Boateng Benson also known as Funny Face.
This, according to checks by Scoopyvibes.com came about after Lilwin in a video interview opposed a decision by organizers of the Ghana Movie Awards to adjudge his contender Funny Face as the favourite actor of the year.
According to Lilwin, Funny Face was undeserving of the award as long as he (Lilwin and many others including Akwasi Boadi-Akrobeto were alive). This apparently did not sit well with Funny Face who went all out to register his displeasure at maligning comment by the colleague.
This called for a back and forth with each party going after the other on social media. However, there was a plot twist when Funny Face shared a recorded phone conversation between himself and one Kwame Ahenfie (an errand boy for Lilwin) where the errand boy reveals he had asked his boss (Lilwin) to stop but wouldn’t. Funny Face also revealed Lilwin’s alleged girlfriend had asked him not to expose him.
This comment broke the camel’s back as Lilwin’s alleged girlfriend and actress Sandra Ababioh went berserk on Instagram insulting and dragging Funny Face in the mad. She went ahead to describe Funny Face as gay but hours later, they (Lilwin and Sandra) seem remorseful of their action but would not want to apologize publicly.
In a leaked chat obtained by Scoopyvibes.com, Sandra is seen apologising to Funny Face saying “Bro, please, please wai. All is not lost the Lord that brought u this far knows best.”
She’s again seen saying, “I’m deeply sorry”
Lilwin on the other part sent a voice note that sought to request for Funny Face’s presence since he was in Kumasi (where Lilwin resides) to make up their differences. He’s heard speaking in Ga and Later Twi (local Ghanaian dialects)
Listen to the leaked audio from below.
Funny Face has since been advised by friend Adebayor to stay away from negative energy but rather stay focused.
