You must be sick in the head to call yourself a full-time actor or actress in Ghana – Selassie Ibrahim
Actress, film producer and the CEO of Smarttys Management and production Selassie Ibrahim has described individuals who call themselves full-time actors and actresses in Ghana as ‘sick in the head.’
The film producer made this damning comment during an interview on Adom TV’s ‘Ahosepe Xtra’.
According to her, there’s very little to make from the Ghanaian movie industry and therefore it is worrying when people claim to be doing full-time acting.

“You’ll go hungry if you choose to go into full-time acting. How can you survive when you’ve got to shoot virtually every 3 months? We are not there yet and so you must have something on the side that will sustain you”, she said.
